the way i see it with the DCAU, it's not like the olden days where yellow was immune to the green lantern. it's just that yellow is stronger against green lanterns. it's a weakness, but not as severe as the og days.

Let’s be clear I was watching anime when it was underground. My mother introduced me to anime such as battle of the planets,so hanabarbera just wasn’t cutting it anymore. Mighty Orbots anyone. Bionic six. So in closing the animation was very fluid . Beautiful.

I have my own ideas about Mixy. One thing we know is that he is bored. I think this is possibly the only thing we know about him to be true. All the rules that are true sometimes and not others. There is a reason for it. The other fifth Dimensional Imps that imprison him yet somehow look like variations of him. This is all just him. It's the setting he put in play. Have you ever wanted to fix something on a TV show. Ever wanted to meet your heroes. Well, he can. He is stuck up in the 5th dimension all on his own with nothing but tv, comics, and such things. After watching for a while, he wants to join in on the fun. Maybe he wants to be a hero that day, maybe (normally) a villain. So he creates a back story. He rights rules for himself. Then he travels there. He messes around, but he luses and gets sent back. Except that's exactly what you wanted. His Entertainment is watching Superman. If he kills him, then he'll be board. If he messes with things in the wrong way, it will change the story. Then, when he had his fill, he let's himself be caught. Finely, I think he chooses a time he has already seen. He doesn't like what happens so he jumps in himself, basically Removing the former comic from existence. Imagine if you had this power. Batman sleeps with Batgirl, no, instead, you get a comic about a superpowered character with a persona you created and acted out, and you let yourself luse in a way that makes your hero look cool.
